If you’re on the hunt for a benefits manager, you’re not alone. With 98% of human resources leaders expanding their benefits during the pandemic, it’s clear that organizations will need to make additional hires to oversee these additional offerings.

But writing good job descriptions takes time, and we know you already have a lot on your plate. To make your life a bit easier, we’re sharing a benefits manager job description that will help you find the right addition for your team.

The only benefits manager job description you’ll need

Benefits managers wear many hats, and it can be difficult to boil down all their responsibilities into a single job description. We did the hard work for you and created a template for this role. Feel free to tweak it and make it your own. Stealing is also encouraged.

We have good news…

Guess what? We already have the perfect candidate for you—and they’re available to start any time.

Meet: Jellyvision Benefits Communications.

Yup, we know it’s a bit self-promotional to pitch ourselves for your job, but hear us out. We have a ton of experience helping HR teams increase employee engagement around their benefits—not just during open enrollment, but all year-round. Here are a few other things to know about us:

We have a decade of benefits experience

Over the past decade, we’ve worked with organizations of all sizes and across various industries. That means we’ve seen it all when it comes to benefits engagement best practices.

We know how to write simple, pithy messages that stick in your employees’ minds. We recognize the importance of reaching your employees in the right place at the right time. Most importantly, we understand how to nudge your employees to take action and actually use their benefits—not leave them untouched.

We take work off your plate

One of the best things about us is that we take work off your plate, rather than adding to it. With us, onboarding is quick. And you don’t have to show us the ropes because, well, we’ve been in this industry for a while.

Of course, that doesn’t mean we’re not collaborative. We’re here to integrate seamlessly into your existing benefits strategy. That means you can plug us into any ongoing campaigns you have—whether they’re tied to seasonal events, support enrollment, or promote initiatives like retirement benefits, diabetes and hypertension support, mental health and leave of absence.

We’re data-driven

We use best-in-class analytics to help you understand your employees’ communication preferences and benefits actions.

Which messages are resonating with your employees? How are engagement rates during open enrollment compared to the rest of the year? What time of day do certain people prefer to receive communications from us? These are questions that we can answer.

We even provide insights into specific audience segments so you can tailor your actions, decisions, and messages to each employee’s unique needs.

We’re always available

We know how tough it is to have the benefits manager get sick during a busy period. Or have half the team out on vacation at the same time. One of the great things about us is that we never get sick, and we don’t take vacations (don’t worry, that’s what we prefer!) That means you can always count on us to be there for your employees.

We want to work for you

If you’re looking for a benefits manager to join your team, we’d love to be considered for the job.
