The Problem:

Florida Hospital’s benefits team was faced with onboarding hundreds of new employees each year, and could see up to 240 new hires in each of their weekly New Employee Experience Sessions. On top of that, while their orientation program lasted three days, the benefits team only had one single hour to cover all of their benefits topics.

The Plan:

The benefits team got ALEX to take some of the onboarding work off of their plates. To encourage new hires to talk to ALEX, they gave live demos during orientations that showed employees where to turn to for an in-depth, customized benefits experience. ALEX also helps employees who may not have had much experience with health insurance ¬–like recent graduates and international employees– understand how Florida Hospital’s HDHP with HSA works.
