Benefits communication used to be so simple, didn’t it? Once a year, we’d go on a tour of meetings at our clients’ offices, review what’s included in our benefits packages and any changes that have been made since last year, and call it a day.
These days, it’s not so simple. Employees are telling us they’ve never taken action as a result of their employer’s benefits communication, and over half aren’t taking advantage of all of the benefits available to them. It’s time for us to double down with a full-court press benefits communication strategy. That means year-round, always-on messages that are relevant to employees in the moments that matter most.
