Katie spent much of her early life in small towns near Erie, Pa. For example, she went to college in a town known for several things:
1) It’s the birthplace of Sharon Stone.
2) The zipper was invented there.
3) Certain parts of town smell like dog food (courtesy of Dad’s dog food factory).
Upon realizing that these claims to fame were not enough for her, she moved to Chicago to pursue a career in animation. After working in post-production and then for a digital marketing agency, Katie has achieved success with a desk at Jellyvision Lab. When she’s not working on interactive conversations, she can be found at any number of local beer bars and art fairs, reading presidential biographies, eating her way through the city… and often not in the city at all – she is an avid day-tripper, camper, and international traveler.
Why I like to work at Jellyvision
It is a real privilege to work at a company where everyone takes their work seriously and is great at their job, but no one takes themselves too seriously. The collective intelligence and sense of humor at Jellyvision can’t be beat.
