No one really knows where Austin came from, but newspapers of the time reveal certain clues: a mysterious ship hovering over Lake Michigan, a lanky figure being thrown out of its cargo bay, and an otherworldly voice uttering just two words: “Good riddance.” Struck by lightning upon reaching land, the aftershock left Austin with a yearning to make complicated subjects more fun — and also storm powers. He eventually found Jellyvision, who realized he was the ideal candidate to fight the mutant weasels invading the corporate parking lot. With that problem (mostly) under control, Austin got his long-awaited transfer to the computer department, where he helps make Jellyvision’s products sound, look, and flow as awesomely as they should.
Why I work at Jellyvision
Your job is only as good as the people you work with, which sounds platitudinous but accurately reflects how I feel about my coworkers. I dig them — and the cool, funny, valuable work we do — a lot.
But I could do without the weasels.
