After alerting Universal Forest Products, Inc. (UFPI) employees that a popular PPO plan would be phased out over the next three to five years, the benefits team wanted to make sure their employees felt taken care of, informed, and confident during Open Enrollment.

The Plan

UFPI’s benefits team brought ALEX onboard to help take employee education to the next level AND help each employee understand whether the new HSA plan option would be a good fit for them.

The Outcome

ALEX helped UFPI communicate with its hard-to-reach population, and inspired a 50% increase in HSA plan enrollments. Along with that enrollment boost, 82% of employees surveyed said that they better understood their benefits after talking to ALEX.
