Zach grew up in New Jersey, very close to New York City. He has yet to ascend the Empire State building and the Statue of Liberty, but he has been in their lobbies, and can say with certainty that they have great facilities. When not exploring lobbies, Zach was watching anime, food shows, and anime where food items transformed into monsters. He believes that if you can defeat a food monster, you can master cooking that food. If you can’t defeat it, spaghettabout-it!
Zach is a diabetic and a philosophy major. He likes to ask the big questions. Like why can’t glucometers also be mp3 players? If that were the case, it’d be cool to be diabetic! After graduating college, Zach moved to Madison, where he worked in software for 2 years. He then left to pursue his passion for cooking as a chef, while learning more technical skills with Udacity on the side. While being a chef, Zach learned the secrets to both good programming and good food: overseasoning. Now in Chicago, Zach is on a quest to defeat all of the local food, to be the mayor of giardiniera!
Why I like to work at Jellyvision
The people! They help me on the quest to defeat food.
