Michael Jarecki
Wants to be a dinosaur or a space ship when he grows up. But for now he’ll just have to deal with the fact that he is currently only a glizard. NOTE: we don’t really understand what a glizard is, but Michael thinks it’s hilarious; just like the words “smonkey,” and “fhun.” In his human form, he graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a BA in interactive multimedia and computer programming. Now he plots how and when he will go to space. He likes to drink Tang because it makes him feel closer to space and space related activities. Michael is also a drummer and currently plays in an AC/DC tribute band. If he were an evergreen, he would undoubtedly be a blue star juniper. Occasionally, Michael will get the sensation that he is not wearing any pants, and although he will frequently run up and down his driveway nude, he has yet to forget his pants on a day-to-day basis.
Why I like to Work at Jellyvision
Jellyvision provides an environment where I am free to explore and learn new technologies in order to implement creative solutions to engineering problems. This affords me a great deal of latitude in my own creative process. I love learning new things and keeping up with the latest technology. Jellyvision projects are always on the cutting edge and require the aggregation of many methodologies and technologies. We rarely get stuck in any one particular engineering paradigm. Instead, we must constantly be learning, and practicing new ideas. This is a very fulfilling environment for me.
